The Greater Madison County Community Foundation (GMCCF) is a charitable foundation created by and for local citizens to improve the quality of life in Madison County, Iowa. We partner with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to make meaningful local impact by offering a variety of charitable and public giving tools that help donors achieve their philanthropic goals and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
GMCCF administers one grant cycle each year and welcomes grant applications for charitable projects that address a broad range of community needs. Funded projects may support areas including arts, culture, and humanities; human services; education; environment and animal welfare; public and community benefit; health; and other initiatives that strengthen Madison County communities. In addition, the Foundation supports special project areas, including the Cemetery Restoration Fund and the Covered Bridge Preservation Fund, which focus on preserving key historic and cultural assets across the county.
